Sherline Milling Machines

Sherline milling machines come in four models and can be purchased in either inch or metric versions. They are proudly made in the USA and feature precision rolled leadscrews and handwheels graduated in thousandths of an inch (.001”) or hundredths of a millimeter (.01 mm).

The mills come with a high-torque DC motor with variable speed control. The speed control is internally equipped with a converter that auto adjusts between inputs of 100 VAC to 240 VAC, 50-60 Hz. without loss of torque. Without gear or belt changes, speed is continuously variable from 70 to 2800 RPM. To provide additional torque at low RPM, a second pulley position is available.
